Investigators of Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) participated in the 2nd Forensic Seminar organized by the Forensic Department of Maldives Police Services on 9th January 2010. The one day seminar was carried out as a joint event of ACC and Maldives Police Services to appraise the current forensic services and tools available at Police. It also focused on how forensic science and recent tools can be effectively used in anti corruption efforts. Forensic experts of Police Services provided information on the modern technologies used in the investigation of crimes. Topics highlighted during the seminar include Forensic Document Examination, Digital Forensics, Fingerprint Identification, Crime Scene Processing, Drugs and Lie Detection. The seminar was inaugurated by Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Faseeh and facilitated by experienced forensic and digital Investigations experts at Maldives Police Services. In last year, Maldives Police Services held a four day Computer Forensic investigation workshop to investigators and auditors of ACC.
